At Van Ree Watches, we believe in long-term relationships based on trust, craftsmanship, and dedicated service. Our after sales and warranty support are designed to ensure your watch can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Warranty – Confidence in Our Quality
We stand firmly behind the quality and durability of every Van Ree watch. If something goes wrong within the warranty period due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair your watch and return it to you in perfect working order.
The warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in the movement, crown or case
- Functional defects under normal conditions of use
- Verified water resistance issues, provided the watch has been checked regularly and used correctly
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of straps, clasps and external finishes
- Damage caused by impact, dropping, improper use or misuse
- Damage due to contact with water when the watch is not rated or treated as water resistant
- Any watch without a correctly completed and valid personal card
Important: Warranty and official service are only possible when the personal card has been fully and correctly completed, including the date of issue and reference number of the watch, and is presented in legible, unaltered form.

Our after sales service is designed to keep your Van Ree watch performing as beautifully as the day you received it.
Periodic maintenance
Mechanical and automatic watches benefit from regular servicing. As a guideline, we recommend a full service every 3–4 years, or more frequently in case of intensive use. During maintenance:
- The movement is checked, cleaned and re-lubricated
- Worn parts are replaced with original components
- Function, accuracy and power reserve are tested
Repairs & adjustments
Whether it concerns fine-tuning the movement, replacing worn parts or a complete overhaul, our watchmakers treat each watch with the same care and precision with which it was built.
Water Resistance & Care
Water infiltration is one of the main causes of damage in watches. To protect your Van Ree watch:
- Have the water resistance checked regularly, ideally once a year and especially before the holiday or swimming season
- Ensure the crown is always pushed back and fully screwed down after setting the time or date
- Never operate pushers under water
- Avoid hot water, saunas and extreme temperature changes
Please note: leather straps are not resistant to moisture and should be kept dry.
